I have been looking for this plant forever. I am part Filipino and was born and raised in the US. My mom on the other hand was born in the Philippines. I don't know a lot about the culture and the only language I speak well is "Plants." So I get like plants that are from there and talk to my mom about them and she tells me stories about seeing them when she was growing up there. Now this one was hard to find because most of the medinilla magnifica are hybrids and not a true medinilla magnifica. I accidentally bought the royal one and my mom said it looks familiar but it wasn't the one she saw growing up or whatever. So I've been searching through the winds and earth trying to find like the actual one and not the hybrid and THIS IS THE ONE!!!!! URGE THE RELIEF 😮💨 So I'm quite happy.

Plants did not arrive healthy. Based on other reviews I expected beautiful plants. Maybe the shipping process was too long. They shipped on the 9th bit remained at that location for almost a week.

I bought this Medinila magnifica and got it through the mail in really good condition. It was packed really well and so the new leaf that was growing in was intact and it was just really taken care of so well. I'm thinking i might buy some more or at least some other plants from this seller. I used to have to mail plants and I can tell you their packing job is superior. Plant was healthy and is doing well!
