Light 🌞
Full sun to bright light is ideal for vigorous growth and strong branching.
Watering 💧
Water regularly while young, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Mature plants are more drought tolerant.
Soil 🕳️
Use well draining soil with moderate fertility. Ginkgo adapts well to various soil types as long as drainage is sufficient.
Fertilizing 🧪
Feed during spring and summer with a balanced fertilizer to encourage healthy development.
Repotting 🪴
Repot container grown specimens as needed, especially during early growth stages. Bonsai specimens may require more structured root pruning.

So excited with the arrival of my healthy gingko tree. It shipped quickly from CA to desert AZ in mid-August and arrived safely with minimal wilting. Now THAT is creative and careful packaging!!!
