Alocasia 'Venom'

A rare collector’s plant originating in South Korea with dramatically sculpted leaves, prominent silver veining, and exceptionally long, curling drip tips that resemble fangs. Each new leaf becomes more striking as the plant matures, making it a sinister-looking centerpiece for any tropical plant collection.

☀️ LIGHT:
Provide bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which may scorch the foliage.

💧 WATER:
Water when the top 1 to 2 inches of soil feel dry. Keep the soil lightly moist, but never soggy. Do not allow the pot to sit in standing water.

💦 HUMIDITY:
Prefers high humidity, ideally 60% or higher. Protect it from air-conditioning vents and dry drafts.

🌡️ TEMPERATURE:
Keep between 65°F and 85°F. Avoid temperatures below 60°F.

🌱 SOIL:
Use a loose, well-draining aroid mixture containing potting soil, orchid bark, and perlite. Good drainage is essential for preventing root rot.

🌿 FERTILIZER:
Feed every 2 to 4 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength. Reduce feeding during colder months when growth slows.
