Fittonia albivenis 'Frankie' Nerve Plant

Loved for its vivid veining and lush, low growing habit that gives it a soft, almost embroidered look. Native to tropical South America, this charming plant has become a favorite for terrariums, desktops, and cozy indoor spaces where its colorful foliage can really shine. ‘Frankie’ is especially eye catching for its bright pink tones and intricate leaf patterning, giving it that collectible look plant lovers are always drawn to. The broader nerve plant group is also widely known in cultivation as mosaic plant or jewel plant. 

Light 🌞
Bright, indirect light is best. It can handle medium light, but the color is usually richest when it gets plenty of filtered brightness. Avoid harsh direct sun, which can scorch the delicate leaves.

Watering 💧
Keep the soil lightly and evenly moist. Fittonias tend to droop dramatically when too dry, but they usually perk back up after a thorough watering. Do not let the pot stay soggy for long periods.

Soil 🕳️
Use a rich, airy potting mix that holds some moisture while still draining well. A blend for tropical houseplants works great.

Fertilizing 🧪
Feed lightly during spring and summer with a balanced houseplant fertilizer about once a month. Reduce feeding during cooler, slower growing months.
